General Behavior: Like Renny she has a temper, but unlike Renny, her fuse is a bit longer. It takes a good deal to piss her off, but once she's there you had better run for the hills because she will unleash a fury the likes of which seems impossible for someone so tiny. Normally, though, she's pretty calm and laid-back, if not a little odd. She doesn't have the same air of innocence to her that Ranait does, but that's not to say that she's a whore or anything. Her life just hasn't been exactly innocent given her batshit crazy momma lady.

She thoroughly enjoys intelligent and sarcastic banter. Despite constantly being on the move with her mother growing up she did receive a pretty good education. It helps that she has a love for reading and analyzing things.

People who are all about the way a "proper lady" should look and act irritate her. She doesn't mind being seen as a non-proper lady, but when they try to force her to act like one she gets rebelious. She'd much rather be covered in durt and blood while wearing boots and "men's clothes" than be covered in flowers and perfume while wearing a dress. Not to say that she doesn't like to be clean, but you get the point.

{ H I S T O R Y }



Kiara was actually not born to the woman that she's known as her mother her whole life. She was born as the identical twin of Ranait O'Halloran (now Mahon.) However, when she was born her mother was a nurse maid to the O'Halloran family and declared that she was still-born, despite the fact that she was actually alive. Elva Delaney stole the baby from her real parents and went on the run with her. None of the O'Hallorans realized, until after she suddenly disappeared, just how crazy the woman that had been a nurse maid to their children was. They; however, never questioned whether or not the woman had lied about Ranait's twin being still born. So even they do not know about her. They never told Renny that she had been a twin, because they didn't want to break the poor girl's heart.



Kiara and her mother spent the whole of her childhood traveling from place to place. It was part of Elva's mental condition. She was paranoid and constantly believed that people were following them. At some point they ended up in England. When Kiara hit thirteen the woman that she'd always called her mother had a massive break down. She lost any ounce of sanity that she once had, and Kiara was taken in by a knight who was married to a poor farmer woman. The couple taught her how to farm the land, butcher and birth the live stock, and just generally things that are needed to know to make a good farmer. However, her real interests lay in the man that she's beginning to consider a father's knightdom. Since she started living with the couple she's had a fascination with his swords. When he found out she was afraid that he would react poorly to it, but instead he took it upon himself to train the girl. His claim was that a woman needs to be able to defend herself, and needs to be able to fight in case she has to defend her home when her husband is away.



When she reached age 15, she got news that the woman she'd thought was her mother all those years had passed away.
