Rules

General:

1. Don't be a jerk. (Remember that saying from grade school? "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Yeah. That applies here, too.)
2. That said, we do have a somewhat 'twisted' sense of humor here! So long as all parties are aware that what you've said/are saying was/is in good fun you won't get in trouble.
3. Please realize that this is a roleplay that focuses around war and the "scandalous" behaviors of royalty and nobility. This means that there will likely be 'mature' themes involved. (Ex: death, romance, etc.) If you cannot handle these things it is not recommended that you join this rp.
4. That said, all members are required to tag any threads that have mature themes, otherwise they risk said thread being deleted.
5. Swear words are not censored, and while you are free to swear, we do ask that you don't go overboard. (In other words there's no reason to use the f word as every other word.)

Posting/Characters:

1. Each character is required to have his or her own account with their name in proper caps.(That said, you are also required to have a separate O.O.C. account for the purposes of staffing and OTMs.)
2. Once your character has been approved PLEASE make sure to post all necessary claims BEFORE making any IC posts! (Faces, Titles, and Who's Who are the required claims and are linked in the accepted template!)
3. You are free to have a character from any of the four kingdoms, England, Scotland, Wales, or any other medieval Kingdom that you like. (This includes any characters of 'Viking' descent.)
4. You are free to have as many characters as you wish; as long as you can keep up with them all!
5. We do have a minimum requirement of one post per character per week! Those seen to not meet this minimum requirement may be removed. (Subject to staff discretion and dependent upon length of time since their last post.)
6. This said, if you know that you are going to be unable to meet the required posting minimum one week simply post a semi-away status in the OOC with the names of characters that will be effected!
7. Do not god mod/auto-hit/power-play, etc without permission from the other party(ies) involved!
8. Do NOT kill off another person's character without permission! (To keep this from being a he said she said situation you are required to have the other person contact a member of the staff team expressing this permission!)
9. Realize that back in medieval times what we now refer to as pedophilia was not considered as such back then. (I.e. : a man over the age of 18 dating/being married to a girl who is under the age of 18.)
10. That being said, we do place a minimum age limit on your characters. All characters must be no younger than 15, this is for the comfort level of all people who are involved in the roleplay.
11. Though we do accept all skill levels of roleplay, we ask that you stick to our 200 word count minimum. This is to help keep posts flowing and to encourage everyone to develop their posting skills.
12. The forum operates on liquid time. (Which means that you can have one character in multiple threads at the same time!)
