Liam is the type that likes to crack jokes that you really shouldn't laugh at, but you do anyway because they're fucking hilarious. He lives to pull pranks on other people and otherwise get in trouble by doing shit he knows he's not supposed to. He's a bit of an adrenaline junkie; loving to hunt dangerous game, and picking fights with people who are bigger than him. He claims it keeps him on his toes and makes life less boring, especially when there's no war to be fought in. That being said he does know when to sit down, shut up, and be serious. (Other wise how would he have ever ended up as the commander of the Southern army?)
If someone were to ask him what the most important thing in the world to him was; his response would be family. But family is much more than blood. To him; family covers friends, too. Friends are the family that you get to choose. And he's loyal to his family to a fault. He would do anything necessary to protect them, even if they don't think that they need his protection.
History:
Liam was born one of a set of identical triplets. He cam first of the three of them, but Kacey was the first born of all the Sloane children, and was the one who was named heir of Gloucester. This never really bothered any of the triplets, as they were all more interested in fighting in some way or another than they were in running an estate. Liam spent his whole life training to become a soldier, and found that he preferred to use an axe or broadsword when fighting. A few years ago Uilliam started teaching himself to throw the axe that he almost always carries with him, and has gotten pretty good at hitting moving targets since then.
When war came to Ireland he joined the army of Aibirith and defended the country as whole, and not just his kingdom. He moved up the ranks pretty quickly during and after the war, but didn't become Commander of the kingdom of Aibirith until after the death of the late king. He'd been offered the position by the man at first, but turned it down because of the hatred he harbored for the other man. After his death Queen Morgan once again offered him the position. This time he accepted, and he is now quite proud of his rank. While he has to stay in his own kingdom most of the time, he does occasionally get the opportunity to travel. Which he lives for almost as much as he does feeding his adrenaline addiction.
Shortly after the events of the Knight Games melee he traveled from Aibirith to Axailia with news of the war and to scout the border lands of both kingdoms. He took only a few men with him, but had to report to the royals of both kingdoms. During his visit to the kingdom of Axailia he met the Lady Ciar MacAteer, and though their encounter was brief he has not ceased thinking about her since then. Upon his return to Aibirth he found himself immersed in plans and strategies for the coming war. He has had little time to spend on other things in life, but eventually found the time to read the letter that Ciar sent to him, and has kept it close since then. Unfortunately he has not had enough time to respond to it.

Liam is a relatively out-going type of person, but he tends to be one of those people who you either love or hate..there's really not much middle ground with him.
