Cori is one of those 'one of the guys' type ladies. Though she silently enjoys the beauty of the world and the beauty of others crafts she'll never fully admit it. Unless she was of course, pressed in questioning. She was raised to fight because she was strong, but also to fight because there are people who aren't strong enough. Cori isn't the one to back down on something if she is determined but she'll listen to the higher ranks because she catches the fact that they were put there for some sort of reason.
She is very strong willed and the only one who gets to see much of her soft side is her brother; or any young child with a dream really.
Cori will only wear dresses and act as lady-like as she can when she's at parties or 'balls' or what have you. She will not tolerate wearing a dress during knight business that doesn't require her to wear her armor. However, she will wear a kilt or pants. She is a woman who sees past gender 'roles' she finds them silly. Though a knight and easily pleased with a bed, food and drink, she is rather intelligent. Some would say she is very tactical too and picks her fights unlike a viking, something that Eilis gave to her daughter as a gift. Cori has the brawn of a viking and the intelligence of a Baile Lady.

History
Eilis was a Baile noble at the age of 15 when she was taken to the East to be wedded off to a 12 year old Squire named Caolan. On the road her caravan was raided and she had been taken by the Vikings for a toy, these vikings weren't like the normal sorts they were the sorts that terrorized small settlements and acted like ruthless bandits. The Viking who had taken her was beginning to gain his title of Red Bear; he had gained the title the night he raped Eilis. Months later Eilis found herself being dumped back into the Baile's outskirts by Red Bear. A part of the man had given into regret for taking her. Even with the months though the young Squire still accepted her. Eilis' family though didn't tell the family about her state until Eilis showed up in Axailia. She had explained everything to the family and the Frighils accepted her in anyhow. Once Eilis gave birth, it was quite obvious what kind of person her father was. Her child, though a daughter, was born big boned and held fire for hair.
They didn't hide the fact that the dark skinned, dark haired man wasn't her father. Caolan was too scrawny and less rugged. Though genetics can reach farther back Frighil men were all fairly dark in complexion. Eilis had very blonde hair but did have some relatives with red hair. Because of this, Eilis and Caolan never lied to Cori. They didn't even lie to their son they had 3 years after. Not that it mattered, Cori had no use for a father who wasn't in the picture but she did have use for the fire she had for hair and the big boned body figure.
When Cori was 12, her 9 year old brother was pressed to take up the sword like his father and past fathers of the Frighil. When young poetry loving Cinaed declined, Cori stepped in and began practicing with her father's swords and axes. At first she did it behind his back but not many months after she caught a very drunken male knight in a spar. She knocked him out after guarding her brother from his strike. Her father was pressed by the higher ups in the Knight's Order. She began to 'squire' below him.
As she grew she had eyes for a young male squire but he decided to settle for an older wife. Telling Cori that she had been too 'masculine' for his liking. She grew a shield around her heart after. It will take many a tries to catch her heart off guard or parry away her shield. When Cori was 21 she gained the status as the First Lady Knight of Axailia under King Connor.
During the Knight's Games after the Aibirith Queens wedding, Cori's mother was called a whore within the melee competition and she killed the Commander of England's army. Causing an uproar and a stir in the already rocky connection between the Irish Kingdoms and the English Kingdom. It also furthered her relationship with the Captain of the Guard, Lorcan from her own Kingdom.

Cori is a fire-like woman with a temper. But it is not hard to befriend the Viking. It is hard to regain her trust when it is broken, but it is doable.
Cori can allow herself to bight back the flames, and open her mind and soul to new comers. She is usually neutral to newcomers, though for this Viking it sometimes comes down to how she really feels about you and how her instincts tell her to feel about you.

Cori pretty much signed her fate the day she became a Lady Knight. Some men do not enjoy this, though the King sort of took this action to make an example of her, and to sort of stir the pot with a bit of fiery friction.
Cori DID sign her fate when she set fire to the bridge between the Irish Kingdoms and the English Kingdom.
But it is actually both easy to make enemies with the Viking and hard to make enemies with her. You just have to be the right person.

After a long time, Cori had kept herself under check of a lover, she did not see them as a need.
Since the beginning of her time as Lady Knight she has strengthened her bond with the Captain of the Guard, Lorcan. She is in a monogamist relationship with him.
