General BEHAVIOR: Killian Hallows was raised to be a Duke from the moment he was born. He holds himself to higher standards and expects others to do the same. Though he is down to earth in the sense that he knows that people are just people and not perfect. Killian is very much a family man in that his family comes first and he would do anything within his power to protect them. He treasures respect, loyalty, and responsibility and is proud of his brothers for each choosing to make their own way. Killian has a passion for singing and playing guitar and if he had not been born to become a Duke, he might have been a bard, such is his love of music. He tries to take time at least once a week to play music for his children, as he wants them to also enjoy the arts [almost] as much as he does. Killian does not tolerate anyone mean spirited or anyone that sees themselves as better than everyone else as he feels that all life should be cherished and treated with respect.

{ H I S T O R Y }


Killian Hallows was born the oldest of five brothers, though his identical twin Loman was not far behind by minutes, to the Duke and Duchess of Irongrove. Irongrove is a fairly large settlement near the Capital of the Eastern Kingdom. The five brothers range from the oldest twins, Killian and Loman, at 30 to their youngest brother, Teague, at 18. Killian was heir to the estate since birth, while Loman had been going towards guard since he was born, and the rest became knights except for Teague becoming the Court Messenger. When Killian was 22, his father passed during the night after a heart complication. His mother took over the five boys and lead the pack steadily as each went into squiring and became knights. She placed Killian in her late husband's role, and got him married to a young lady named Elaine from the Southern Kingdom. Though at first it was a marriage of convenience, Killian quickly grew to love Elaine and vice versa. Elaine eventually revealed to him that she was pregnant with his child and he could not have been happier. He would sing and play music for her, even writing songs for his new family, that's how smitten he was. When Elaine gave birth to a healthy set of fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, Killian was nervous but ecstatic. After all, he had nothing but brothers and now he had a son and the very first daughter to enter their family. As far as others entering into the family, Killian was very distrustful of Mari and feels that she is not good enough for his brother Lukan. He even went so far as to try and discourage the match, but he did not press the issue as he felt that it would be best for everyone to learn from their own mistakes. Since the brothers are all adults now, Killian tries to host a family get together at least once or twice a year as he wants his children to enjoy their uncles the way that he has enjoyed his large family.
