General Behavior: Guy; like his name sake, is typically a very sensible; level headed man. Because of this he's always been seen as the "conscience" of his siblings. That's not to say that everything about him is serious. Oh, no. He has a jokester side. In fact; one of his favorite things to do is trick people into thinking that he's not blind when he first meets them.
While he adores his family, he feels a bit like an outcast among them because he's constantly getting "left behind" due to his birth defect. Despite this, though, he would do anything for his sisters and is crafty enough to protect them in his own ways. Even if he can't always be there to physically defend them himself. Not that he's much of a fighter anyway, but that's completely off the point.
When he's not busy worrying over his sisters or playing conscience for them, he likes to spend as much time as possible outside. Especially if it's raining. There's just something about the way it smells and feels against the skin.

Guy was born to Adair and Ailionora Rowan, the future Viceroy and Vicereine of Geole. Despite being born first, and being their only son, he was passed up in favor of his sister. Why, you might ask? Well, that’s simple. He was insanely different from his sister; her vision was amazing, and he didn’t have vision at all. Apparently his impairment affected his mental capacity as well, because his parents didn’t believe that he was capable of running an estate. Which at first really wouldn’t have bothered him, had he not been continuously left out. His family would go off to a tournament or a ball and he would be stuck at home, told that it wasn’t safe for him to go but knowing that it was because he was viewed as a burden.

While he did feel that all of this was rather fair, he never expressed his opinion to anybody; he didn't want to be seen as both a physical burden and a mental burden for whining. He refused to act like anything other than an older brother, though, and would constantly give his younger sisters advice, whether or not they had asked for it. He tried to maintain a good mental health by also joking around, though it usually ended with him being in more trouble than he thought possible. Apparently you weren’t supposed to trick visiting Kings into thinking that you weren’t blind? Anyways, not long ago his parents passed on and left the estate in the hands of Andraste, and while he was sad he was actually a tad bit relieved; now that his parents weren’t around he could actually live without worrying about them controlling him, and he gave himself more freedom. He likes to think that Andraste doesn’t really care, though that’s probably because she doesn’t exactly know that he hasn’t been continuing life as usual. In fact, he’s having quite a lot of fun occasionally exploring away from Geole…with Brid, of course.
