General Behavior: Ailis is a hard worker, if it was up to her she would have been raised by a Knight and not a whiney bastard like her father. She would never be a knight but the idea of following them on the battleground and giving them her aid as a studying physician would. However, her father stops this and saying no to her, makes her just want to work much more harder. She attends the hunts and gains respect from the men and women from Ainran. She is also a rather good midwife, as she even helped her servants when they lack the money her father has promised them.
She doesn't hate the idea of being an heir, but she hates the idea that her brother had to be disowned by it. She wishes to set things right the moment her father passes. If someone tells her no about something, to be less like Carrick she bites her tongue and goes to work on something.
Though she is not allowed to see him and hasn't been for some time, she is very attached to her brother. He is her best friend.

Ailis was born of a very dramatic family, she was spoiled being the only daughter. As an infant she loved the spoiling and was known to cause her brother and her mother some headaches when she didn't get her way. But in the end, as she became older she would notice that being like that didn't get her any love which is what she needed the most.
She grew up not knowing her grandfather, but, she grew up seeing Carrick as a nuisance father and her uncle as more of the father figure. Even if she couldn't tell her father that the uncle was visiting. The role of a Knight was intriguing to the young little girl.
Ailis began at the age of 8, wanting to learn how to become a physician when her brother was rather injured and she hadn't flinched. At the age of 10 she began to study on her brother whenever he'd roughhouse with their Uncle on their visits. If he got a bruise she'd learn the herbs to use and sometimes, learn the herbs to not use. The poor boy had gotten Poison Ivy Itch many times because of this. Even at the young age of 12, Ailis had been put to the test and reacted to a servant who was birthing a child. With only knowledge on midwifery from books she read; Ailis helped birth the a healthy baby boy. Her father did not like this, at all, and it had been the first and last time he ever raised his hand to his daughter. She began to practice even when he didn't want her too. Midwifery was the most fun but she had an iron stomach to stitching and had the heart to let an injured person go when it became their time.
When she was older, her brother decided to go on the path of a Knight. Though she was extremely happy for him her father cut him off from the family. He thrusted the title of heir onto her and she disliked this emmensely. But she learned her lesson and she wished to stay by her mother Aine so she wasn't lonely. She remained quiet, and when her mother passed she caved in and went to the Southern Kingdom without her father's knowledge (She said she was going to the physicians for herbs with his permission), she went to seek her brother and uncle. She spent days in her brother's rooms, mourning the loss of their mother. He comforted her with many cups of tea and hugs. But she had to return. Allowing her Uncle and Brother over when she wasn't away to attend to the hunts and the hunters' wounds.
Otherwise, she lives in solitude for the most part as her father whores around.
