General Behavior:  Jako is a man of few words, though it is more that he is picky about what he says and whom he says it to rather than a lack of intelligence on his part. He does not suffer fools or tolerate incompetence in those that work under him and he is very particular about whom he works for as well. He has a deep respect for Air, as well as his Queen, and has made it quite known that he will kill anyone disrespectful to them. Unless, of course, Air gets to them first. He is more beast-like than man and prefers the primal things in life as opposed to making everything prim, proper, and fancy. Jako loves women of all shapes and sizes, and does not tolerate the abuse of them. He would never bed an unwilling woman, though he also does not have any intentions of getting married any time soon even though he has seen the good that has come from his King's pairing with his Llew.

{ H I S T O R Y }


Just as no one knows where Air originally hailed from, the same is true of Jako. Though it is rumored that they probably came from the same place as they have a similiar look about them with their long dark hair and beards. He arrived with Air, or perhaps shortly afterwards, and quickly rose up through the ranks of the Welsh King's Army. Jako's only problem within the ranks was when he had to deal with incompetence. There was a rumor that Jako might have killed a higher ranking guardsman for this very reason, but no one was able to prove this particular rumor as the guardsman in question had been on watch one night and was simply found dead the next morning, strangled.


Jako's leading style is not so charismatic as it is forged with a level of respect to those who hold themselves with honor, respect, and whom are not afraid to take action. Jako was the first to follow Air into battle against the King, much prefering his friend's style of doing things. So it was only natural that when Air took the crown that he appointed Jako as his Captain of the Welsh Guard. The Welsh Guard have never been in better shape than they are now.


Another rumor surrounding the Captain of the Welsh Guard is that he was either born the son of a whore. or fell in love with one. The rumor also says that Jako found the whore raped, murdered, and left for carrion. They say that his heart burns with a lust for vegeance and that is why he is quick to kill what he considers a threat and even quicker to defend women. Of course, it's just another rumor, and no one has ever been able to prove it. The only person who might know is Air, and neither he nor Jako say anything about it.
