Dislikes:

-The sleeplessness of being king.
-Women who fling themselves at him just because he's the king.
-Being yelled at for being foolish with his physical health.
-Cowardice, dishonesty, disloyalty.
General Behavior: Connall is a generally silent man, but he does talk to those select few that he deems friends. While he has never been married, he doesn't really act like a man who is single either. Oh, don't get me wrong, he'll occasionally take a tumble with a willing woman, but for the most part he avoids that sort of thing. Were he ever to be with a woman it would be one who managed to win his heart, not someone he married for his own benefit. He's just not the type to marry for anything other than love, and being king means he gets to make that decision. That being said, he doesn't much care for women who fling themselves at him. Also, being a king isn't exactly his favorite thing in the world; he'd much rather spend his time in battle or at home doing foolishly dangerous things. Jousting, breaking horses, and even the occasional attempt to ride a bull are things that he prefers to do.

Connall was born the only child of the Duke and Duchess of Baemoth. Though he grew up as nobility, it quickly became apparent that he was a very skilled swordsman. It wasn't long until the son of Duke Baemoth's talent became widely known and he had gained fame by the time he was in his mid teens. He was given the chance to prove himself when war came to his kingdom, and he flourished in battle and as a tactician in a way that no one could have anticipated. It wasn't long before his talents became known to even foreign lords and soldiers, and it was said that they cowered in fear at the mere mention of the boy, though whether this was true or not was never proven.
For many years he spent his time either on the battle field, or in his tactician's chambers, planning new and revolutionary war tactics. It was his life, until the war ended in an unstable treaty. He returned to Baemoth where, merely a year later, he was named as the Duke Baemoth upon the death of first his father and then his mother. He stayed on his family's land, lost in grief and only able to function when he was putting his life at risk by breaking some wild horse or flinging himself at death in a jousting tournament. Most people thought for sure that he had gone insane with the loss of both of his parents, but he was merely coping with their deaths in a manner only he could understand.
A year past the deaths of his parents the king was murdered and chaos ran rampant through the eastern kingdom. Men and women fought to keep their lives and their sanity, and many fought to gain the title of king. However, there were many men who remembered Connall O'Braddagh from the time that he'd spent fighting by their side in battle. They determined that if there was a man alive who could unite and calm the kingdom again it would be he. Unwilling as he was; somehow Connall found himself being crowned the king.
