Cliona would be seen walking around the palace grounds earlier that morning. Especially if anyone in the castle was awake and looking out of their windows. But that was a big if. She wore a deep red dress that covered most of her skin except for her back which was tied and weaved in and out until meeting the tip of her waist, revealing the smallest of hints that she even had skin. She had walked over towards her horses stall and prepared him for whatever was to come next. When she spotted Lorcan and Cori outside the colt's stall, she knew something was up. Hunting perhaps? With a quick nod to herself, she leaped atop her steed and grabbed her own bow and wrapped it around her back. Keeping her arrows on the horses back between herself and his neck. She patted him gently and together they trotted out of the stall and towards the others. She stopped right behind Connall and his horse and smiled lightly. It was a rare sight indeed to see this woman smile genuinely since it was a hard thing for her to do, but when she did, she meant it. Quietly the horse would walk around Connall and and stopped at his side, his hoof kicking the ground anxiously ready to go. She calmed him and turned to face the King whom she had known for so many years. "I trust you weren't thinking about abandoning me Sire? You know I love hunting as much as the next person." She teased. Now she loved animals but it didn't stop her from joining on a hunt.

Connall O'Braddagh
He nodded his head to the lady knight chick when he spotted her astride what he assumed was her horse. "Thank you," he said in response to her compliment, though he didn't really know what else to say. When Lorcan rode around the other side of the barn with a comment about the two of them finally being ready he let out a snort. "Yeah, well, unlike you some of us actually have jobs to do," he grinned. "Bah. There aren't many better looking stallions than Ahern," he shot back at his friend. "Besides; at least he's better behaved and calmer than your stud," he flashed another grin. Like Lorcan, he'd raised Ahern since he was a foal. The two of them had bonded wonderfully and it was through that bond that Connall had trained him. "I did hear that you had a colt last night, though. Congratulations, my friend," he said with a grin. His head turned at the sound of a familiar voice from his past and he turned to see Princess Cliona ride up beside them. "Clio!" he exclaimed with a grin. "Good to see you in from the west," he teased lightly. "By all means; join us. It'll be nice to have friends around and get the hell away from this palace," he said with a light snort. Yeah. He didn't much care for being confined to the palace. He didn't much care for being king at all for that matter. Being raised on battle and tactics he craved the danger and challenge of battle, which was probably why he did so much stupid shit.

Considering she had been ready but making her way up from the Capital. She was already saddled and waiting there. When Lorcan said finally that they were ready she raised her eyebrows. "I've been ready since earlier this morning. I just don't live in the castle like some people." She patted Trouble as he canted around a bit. She moved a strap that held the hilt of a rather big and useful hunting knife that hugged her left boot. When Lorcan managed to call her a Kiss Ass she grinned broadly. "You jealous I said it first or something, Captain?" Her eyes flicked up to Lorcan as he retorted to the two statements Lorcan would have said to them. Chuckling a little at Connall. "Yes, he was a troublesome little guy that's for sure." She was unaware if Connall knew that she was there helping, actually. She was the one who had come in when the Mare's fluid sack broke. Her head turned when she heard a familiar woman's voice peak up. Watching Clio for a moment.
"It'll be nice to have someone else other then me to keep these two up on their horses." She'd grin at the Princess. It was a compliment to her; to say the least. Not so much the other two.

Cliona smiled when Connall noticed her. It was as if someone had forgot to even mention her arrival to him. No bother, he knew now and that was all that mattered. The two of them had grown up together and best, were their own escapes to the real world outside their walls. She nodded and turned to face the King. "Yes but on behalf of my father's affairs. But we know how that works out." She grinned knowing that she wasn't about to do anything her father asked of her and more so get whipped for it later. No matter. She sighed and turned towards the Lady Knight and smirked a bit. "You have a lot to learn Lady Knight. A whole lot." She would leave it at that and turned to look at her horse stallion, giving him a gentle tap with her heel to him to run. "I'll see you guys at the forest edge. And if I remember the rules correctly, the loser buys." She winked at them all before taking off towards the gates and into the capital. Much like her own home, she knew the Eastern Kingdom pretty well and had a decent memory of the land layout. She will not be buying this round.

Lorcan snickered as they both retorted to his comment about them finally being ready, “I suppose you’re right. I don’t care much for my job, so it does leave me with more time to get ready in the mornings,” he would joke, when in reality he had left another guard with the King so that he could go check on the colt and mare; he’d just been there so he decided to get ready while he was at it. He would laugh heartily at Conn’s comment about his horse being calmer, “That’s right, because mine acts like the warhorse that he his, not the gelding that yours wants to be,” he would retort, patting Airgead affectionately. When his friend congratulated him on the colt he would grin broadly, “I think it ought to be Airgead you’re congratulating,” he would say, though he was quite proud, despite the dangerous labor that the mare had gone through. Upon hearing Cori’s comment about the colt being troublesome he couldn’t help but laugh again, “Aye, he is, and no, I’m not jealous of your bad eyesight,” he would say, remembering her retort from earlier.
When Clio rode off towards the forest he would roll his eyes, “She acts like she isn’t gonna lose,” he would laugh, before smirking at Cori, “Come on, Viking. You’re with me, apparently I need somebody to help keep me on my horse,” he laughed before spurring his mount forward. If Clio thought that she knew the kingdom well, then he must have a map on the back of his hand; he had lived here since Connall was promoted, and there wasn’t a day when he didn’t walk or ride around the kingdom.

Connall O'Braddagh
"Bah, I was teasing and you know it," he said with another grin. He knew his friend took his job very seriously, but he did like to harass him as often as possible. He snorted when Lor said that his stallion wanted to be a gelding. "Fuck no. He just knows that I'm bigger than he is and will beat his ass if he tries anything stupid," he said with a grin. Of course, Conn claiming to be bigger than the stud horse who was easily over 1500 pounds was a laughable comment, but with horses; studs especially, you have to keep the mentality that you are bigger than they are. He grinned at Lor's comment about congratulating the stud horse. "Well then, Airgead. Congratulations on the colt," he said with a snicker. Yes, he's that kind of person. He shook his head at Clio and Lorcan before he reined his own mount in a different direction and spurred Ahern into a gallop without a word. Yeah. They might all think they knew the capital and the palace grounds, but if anyone did it was him. He, especially, knew where all the good hunting was. A grin spread across his face as Ahern's hooves thundered against the ground. He might not end up the first one back, but he'd definitely be the one with the biggest kill.

It took awhile for Lorcan and Cori to return; with nothing. Oh the innuendos of possibilities. They both eventually arrived though at the same time, after the King and the Princess. They both were probably looking like a mess. Lorcan surely had some blood on him. But Cori. Well. Cori looked like a massacre had occurred. Her tunic, face and parts of her hair had many splatters and speckles of red. Though I guess in a firey redhead's hair it just looked like her strands were sticking together. She looked absolutely like a Viking now. If this was a judging on how gruesome one could get in a hunting game; well. She won it. As she got off her horse, who also had a bit of blood on his white coat. She stretched out and sighed. She did lose her bow in the mix up but at least it wasn't her favourite.
The Lady Knight crossed her arms and looked to the King and the Princess' kill. Not even saying a word as to why they had nothing with them she stood there. She had been obviously asked by the Captain to not say anything of it. Of course. Cori did have a bag though with her, and it had something in it. Somethings? Surely Lorcan would explain.

Cliona would ride up right behind the duo with her kill in her bag that sat down in front of her. If she did end up loosing the bet this go around... Again, she wouldn't have mind buying them all drinks. She wasn't a drinker herself but if they wanted something, she'd pay it. It was part of the rules that the three of them had established a long time ago. She sighed and shook her head a bit. She could feel the slight stings that came from her back which knew that her bandages needed replacing which she would have to ask her maids to help her. It seemed that besides from Connall and Lorcan, those two were her only sort of friendship she had with anyone. She would reach into her bag and pull out a hare the size of her head to show it off to the three before placing it back into her bag and removing her bow from her shoulders and into her lap. "I had a feeling that I lost the bet again." She chuckled and reached into her pockets for some coins to give to them all. "Here you go." She told them, tossing them out to them. "I do not drink and you will have to excuse me. There is something I should...Attend to." She said slightly as she bit her lips. The cuts on her shoulders were fresh and needed some attending too but she figured the three of them could have a drink without her. "I should see you all in a bit." She added giving off a dip of her head before trotting back to the stables where she would hand of her horse to a stable boy before making her way into the castle.

Lorcan was an absolute mess, both his own blood and their prey’s sprayed across him. His shirt was torn down the middle, revealing superficial cuts across his chest and stomach, though he hadn’t removed it; he wasn’t as indecent as the King was. When they came riding back he had a rather smug look on his face despite his disheveled appearance, and his chest was obviously puffed out with pride. When Cori halted her horse he would stop his as well before jumping down from the saddle and moving towards where she had tossed the bag. She had insisted on carrying their package in that, instead of tying them to a branch and heralding them about like he suggested she do since she was a Viking. He was just about to scoop out what was inside when Clio appeared, brandishing a hare the size of her head. He felt rather bad for an instant, because it was definitely a good catch and probably something he would have brought back had he not had a partner, though the guilt was short lived as she tossed them coins and rode away, saying something about feeling as if she had lost. He would shrug slightly and turn to the King, a broad grin splitting his lips as he looks to the man he thought of as a brother, “Guess what we caught,” he would demand, eagerly awaiting what he might guess, instead of just telling him outright like he had planned originally.

Connall O'Braddagh
Connall rode his horse slowly back towards the area where they had all agreed to congregate. He, however, didn't have a bag. No, instead he had a make-shift sling that was attached to his horse's saddle and his own prey was covered up, but being drug behind Ahern. He could have drug the creature back himself, but it probably would have taken a lot longer for him to do it than it would have for Ahern. His brows furrowed when Cliona pulled out a hare and tossed coins at all of them before excusing herself. She hadn't even stopped to see if she'd actually been the one to lose or not. Not that he actually figured he would have been the one to win. Lorcan had gotten to take the viking with him, so chances are the two of them would have one. "Well, judging by the looks of you, Lor, I'm going to have to say some kind of cat," he said with a snort. There wasn't much around the palace that would have torn a man up like that, but there were a few wild cats that roamed around the area. "Either that or you've just committed murder, dear friend," he said with a smirk.

Cori watched Clio drop the coins and she frowned a bit. She felt bad for a second but then again; the Princess had kept her face about losing and she silently respected the other woman as she did. She hated people who over dramatized things. Losing was losing; winning was winning. In the end there would always be more then one thing to lose or win at in life. That was how Cori saw it anyways. When Connall said some sort of cat she'd chuckle a little. "Man, I didn't even think about looking for big cats." She'd retort to the King. Looking at Lorcan for a moment and then towards Connall, shaking her head though. "No.. It wasn't a cat obviously. It was fun though. Lorcan was the only one who ended up getting hit. Sort of. It was more like skimmed." She actually said Lorcan which made her feel odd. Some part of her didn't like using his name; possibly because she called him Captain or in joke; General. But anyhow she still stuck to her promise to let Lorcan boast about the catch and what had went down. She didn't quite enjoy his option on coming in with the beast's manhood on a stick though; the sack did it's purpose. Well both of them did.

Clio was quickly aided to her wounds when she came practically running to her guest chambers of the castle. It hadn't changed much really.. The decorating was all the same as it was back then. The only thing remarkably different was the size of the bed. Big enough to fit two people if desired. Not that she'd have any man share her bed.. Even the thought of it all made her a bit teary eye. She sighed and pulled herself together again once her Ladies were done fixing her up and all. She got dressed in a royal blue dress that was appropriate for an evening outing or an evening inside the castle. This happen to be her favorite color and get this.. Her favorite dress for it didn't show a whole lot of skin and hid her back real well. It was pulled together by a waistband that seemed to hold the dress in place under her breasts. She wore silver high-heels that wrapped up a little at her ankle and a silver hair piece kept her hair into place. She walked slowly and quietly back down the stairs with her maids walking quietly behind her. She stopped at the nearest window and just watched the others from her little confided spot. Where she, oddly felt more calm and collected.

Lorcan laughs at Connall’s response, shaking his head, “No, not a cat, and no, I didn’t commit murder,” he would grin. When Cori admitted that it wasn’t a cat he would laugh, “Nope, wasn’t a stupid little kitty,” he would snicker, still grinning from ear to ear. He would then reach in the bag and pull out their prey’s manhood before flinging them at the King, “We. Killed. A. Damn. Bear!” he would practically shout, his blue eyes wide and excited as he didn’t even give the King time to take that in. “You should have seen the Viking’s face when I agreed to hunt the beast,” he would laugh, “It was priceless. She didn’t think I would agree,” he would snicker. If there was anything that his friends knew about him, it was that he never backed down from a challenge, no matter how stupid it might be. He was just glad that Connall hadn’t challenged him to ride a bull yet. “Anyways, we need help getting it back,” he would laugh and shake his head, “It’s HUGE. You have got to see it. I’m surprised it didn’t tear out my heart,” he said, glancing down at where it’s claws had torn into his skin.

Cori didn't mind being excused it seemed the Queen from the Northern Kingdom was here and that was cool. She decided she needed to go home anyways and get on some clean clothing and take a short. After she came back in a pair of tan slacks and a tunic that definitely scream Viking. She had loaded Trouble into a stall and cleaned off Trouble from the speck of blood and let the stable boy work on the tack. Since, well it got onto his tack from Cori being on it. When her horse was white again, she moved to help the stable boy with the Captain and King's horses and also the Princess' if she had gotten anything on her horse. She enjoyed their company. Her eyes went to a very robust dapple draft and said hello to him. He whinnied to her and seemed to almost talk to the Viking Knight. His tack seemed packed to the nines as it lay on a tack horse. A smile creased her lips. "Your owner is a traveler" She'd state to the horse and she swore he nodded back. The stable boy chimed in "Yes! And his owner is a very pretty young girl! She told me his name is Hummingbird." Cori chuckled at the name. "It's a good name." She said. Odd but good. When she moved to the stall beside him a young mare was standing there, she wasn't at all a designer horse; a lovely black paint. She would definitely grin at the Mare. "Queen Moira's horse." The Stableboy said. She went in and moved to clean the mud off the horse for the Queen. And fix a shoe she saw on wrong. After that she went and took Drust out with the Mare who had been standing and had delivered her afterbirth successfully. Pulling them into the fields near the pasture. She walked around away from them and watched the mother bond with her son for a bit. It helped her calculate when she wanted to do. She moved up to the mother who leaned against her happily. Like as if she just knew that Cori had been there for her when she was having difficulties with her colt. She noticed that she had not a clue what the Mare's name was. So she called her Mrs. Airgead for the time being. She wandered to Drust calmly and Mrs. Airgead followed in her step. The colt teetered around her but as the day went by the two horses walked after Cori without her say and even when she walked around with her back to them.
As she walked she sang a song about Vikings, the stable boy watched her walk around for a bit before going back to Hummingbird and the other stallions.

------------- CORI THE ADMIN Separating as a Separate Day! ------------
Ina took Hummingbird and put on some of the Eastern Tack the stable boy had given her in replacing the old tack he had while Ina roamed the lands. It had been falling apart aside from the constant stitching Ina made to keep it together. The stable boys all enjoyed looking at the young girl, since she looked a bit younger then 16. But she didn't pay much mind to them as long as they were taking care of Hummingbird. She looked funny on Hummingbird's back but she looked happy still. She was wearing one of the dresses Lorcan's sister Ciar had tailored for Ina. It was a off-grey purple, with grey and ivory accents and embroidering. She felt too wild for the dress but it was her favourite out of the ones she was given. Ina wasn't very flashy with her clothing though this dress served tighter then the ones she came in. It made her body actually look like it had developed womanly. Her wild hair was untamed but in a poofy curly ponytail against her back. She rode with the dress flopped around her and she had her repaired boots still on underneath. The boots were useful and were leather on the bottom but climbed up her leg in a corded felt.
A calm about her on top of her dappled horse showed as she'd whistle to him and he'd neigh in reply.
