Abaigael Coughlan
17
Female
Bisexual
Aibirith
Queen
Personality: Abaigael is a very gentle soul, believe it or not. She enjoys the simplest things in life, like sunshine and laughter. Her years at court have taught her not to be naïve though, and she does know how to keep a secret or two. Because of this, and her parent’s behavior towards her ‘strange affliction’ she hates gossiping. She feels that if she can keep a secret then other people can as well, so gossiping makes her rather angry. Though, speaking of anger, when she is angry or upset she never gets violent; she could never hurt a single hair on another person’s body. She is also extremely loyal; she would never be the one to cheat or stray. She is also very thoughtful, and often does little subtle things for individuals like find their favorite book in the library or pick wildflowers for them. Despite all of this she is somewhat needy and insecure, and needs to know that certain individuals love her as much as she does them, and can often become sullen if she isn’t given that sort of proof.
History: Abaigael was born to the Viscount and Viscountess of rich lands known as Pearblossom. She was practically spoiled rotten as a girl, given anything and everything she could ever dream of, though she never let it get to her head. Her parents thought of her as their little angel…that was until they caught her kissing another girl when she was fifteen. They were completely flabbergasted, and couldn’t think of anything to do with her besides send her to court. They didn’t want the secret getting out, nor did they want to severely punish her but they knew that something needed to be done.
She was completely devastated at court, spending lonely nights and days in the gardens of the royal estate until one day she met the Queen. She absolutely adored the Queen and looked up to her like any young lady would, offering her anything and everything she had; flowers, stories from the books she had read, and company- which she valued more than anything else. Her days of loneliness had proven to her that everybody needed company, including Queens. The woman even made her a Maid of Honor, which she knew would make her parents proud of her once again. Unfortunately, it seemed that the Queen had more than friendly feelings towards her, and she tried to distance herself from the woman. It didn’t work very well though, as the Queen continued to pursue her, and she found that she had fallen in love with the woman; every time she was away from Morgan her heart ached like it was being ripped from her chest.
So, she gave in to the Queen, and attempted to keep their relationship a secret. She knew that if the king ever found out she would be killed, or worse. She tried her absolute best to keep things under wrap, but the King walked in on them cuddling in the Queen’s bed one day, and he went on a rampage. He had Abaigael whipped almost to death, and threatened the Queen with having her killed or exiled, but before anything could be done he wound up dead. She was grateful for it, not only because of the physical harm that was done to her, but because she knew that her beloved was tortured by the King.
Since then Abaigael and the Queen became increasingly more affectionate toward one another. Several months later, however, she learned the truth of the late king's death. Shocked as she was by the revelation, she wasn't certain how to react. On the one hand it brought Morgan into a new and darker light, but on the other she could see the whole situation from neutral perspective and; while she didn't necessarily approve, she could mentally play devil's advocate in the Queen's favor. (Of course she'd never cared much for the king, especially after the man had caught her with the Queen.) It wasn't long after this revelation that Morgan asked for her hand in marriage.
The proposal took her by surprise, but her love for the Queen won out and she agreed to marry her. When their engagement was revealed to the higher nobility of the land she was nervous and uncertain of how it would be accepted, but all seemed to go rather smoothly. When Morgan left the preparations for their wedding in her hands, saying that as she had already been married once Abi should be the one to make the decisions on what she wanted, she did her best to choose things that would please Morgan as well. Knowing the Queen's penchant for extravagant parties, Abi decided it would be best to make the wedding a large celebration and thus set up both a masquerade for the night after the wedding and a Knight Games ceremony for the following day.
The events that took place during the celebration rocked her world as much as they had for the rest of Ireland, but perhaps more so now that she had been coronated as the second Queen of Aibirith. Since then she has found herself in many meetings with Morgan and the noblemen; and in some cases women, of Aibirith as plans have been made to defend not just their kingdom, but the rest of Ireland against the English and Scottish invaders. She has done her best to stand resolutely by her wife's side, but worries about what could happen to Morgan in this war.

Freestyle
Abi can make a friend out of anybody and generally does. She is very trusting and finds it easy to open up to other people, and other people generally find it's easy to open up to her. Because of this there's no such thing as acquaintances for her and she finds it hard to distance herself from other people. She literally thinks of everybody as a friend, even before she meets them. Though, she is trying to work on that; now that she's a Queen she knows that she can't be so personal.
Friends
Abi doesn't have any enemies, and can't find it within herself to truly hate anybody. However, that's not to say that other people don't hate her. With the whole marrying a woman thing and the whole marrying far above her social status thing, it's easy to see how people might despise her. Especially if they haven't met her.
ENEMIES
Her one true love is her wife, Morgan Coughlan. She has given her heart to the woman and isn't going to take it back, no matter what. She may have a lot of friends, but her only love is Morgan.
