Abi couldn’t help but laugh at Alana’s excitement, glad that she finally seemed less uncomfortable, “I’m glad that I have somebody to talk to about it then,” she would laugh, sneaking another peak over at Morgan, “Morgan would give me whatever I wanted, so she’s not much help with her opinions. She says she likes everything that I do,” she would say with a grin and a shake of her head. Upon hearing all of the girls questions she couldn’t help but feel just a tad overwhelmed, though she was definitely welcome to the distraction, “I think the only thing that we’ve figured out is that we want to use Gentians. So the color scheme would have to revolve around blue…maybe blue and white?” she would ask with a shrug. She hadn’t thought that far yet. Upon hearing the girl’s apology she couldn’t help but shake her head, “No, it’s okay. I enjoy your enthusiasm,” she would assure her. When Alana spoke about sticking as close to her dream wedding as possible she would frown slightly, her brows furrowing just a bit, “Honestly…I don’t have a dream wedding. I always assumed that my father would end up just arranging it all,” she would say with a shrug. That was until he’d caught her kissing that girl and sent her to court. After that she figured that she would never marry. She would let her gaze shift briefly to the other sister, a frown tugging down the corners of her lips as she notices her posture; head leaned back and eyes closed. She would bite her bottom lip, wondering if she should say something to the girl before letting out a soft sigh and turning her attention back to Alana.

She smiled when Abaigael said that she was glad she had someone to talk to about it. A giggle drifted from her lips when she accused the queen of not being very helpful. That was usually how it went when it came to weddings. One of the two that were getting married was less interested in what the wedding was actually like and more interested in getting married. "Oh," she said when Abi said she didn't have a dream wedding because she'd always assumed her father was going to arrange it all. "My mom was allowed to have her wedding the way that she wanted it, and because of that she's always encouraged Casi and I to think of everything we can as far as a wedding goes," she admitted a bit sheepishly. "Also, I've seen more weddings recently where people are planning them out and adding things that aren't quite as traditional," she said with a grin. "Ohhh. Blue is a beautiful color, and I love Gentians," she said with another grin. "Blue and white go together really well, but what about silver? It's a royal wedding, and silver at least somewhat adds a royal flair to it," she asked with a cant of her head. "I don't know if you want it to feel like that, though?"

Upon hearing the girl talk about her mother’s encouragements she would smile slightly, “Well, you’re both the daughters of a Grand Duke…I’m the daughter of a Viscount,” she would laugh with a shrug. The children of families higher up on the chain tended to have more leeway when it came to ceremonies and such, but she knew that she wouldn’t have had her father been the one to arrange her marriage. When she said that she’d seen some less traditional weddings lately she would smile, “Well, that’s certainly a plus. I don’t think that we’re looking for traditional,” she would say with a soft laugh. That was the only other thing that she and Morgan had talked about. When the girl expressed her fondness for both the color and her choice of flower she would smile, listening intently as the girl suggested silver. “I’m sure that silver would look fabulous. I don’t mind it appearing as if it’s a royal wedding,” she would say with a slight shrug, “As long as it looks nice.” She would smile at the girl after saying that, “So, what are some of these nontraditional things that you’ve seen?” she would ask with a tilt of her head, curious as to what ideas she might have.

She laughed softly when Abi pointed out that her father was only a viscount. "Well," she said. "There is that." "Oh. Blue and silver look lovely together," she assured the other woman. "Well, I guess some of them aren't really non-traditional so much as there's been a renewal of the older traditions. Like the hand fasting thing as they call it. Apparently they use it either in place of, or along with, wedding rings in the ceremony. They'll drape ribbons around the couple's clasped hands to symbolically bind them together. It's a really neat ceremony, actually," she admitted fondly. "I've seen everything from releasing doves at a specific moment to personalized vows even these days," she said with a happy nod. "I particularly like the personalized vows," she admitted a bit sheepishly. "It makes the ceremony so much sweeter; especially when the couple is actually in love. The whole 'repeat after me' thing kind of gets boring, so it's fun to listen to couples actually declare their love for one another instead of just reciting a bunch of stuff that some clergy person tells them to," she said with another nod. "There are a lot of different things you could do," she admitted with a smile.

Upon hearing the girl speak about the ribbon binding ceremony she would grin, “That would be lovely,” she would murmur softly, thinking about it, “I think that if it was used that we would want to do it along with rings, though,” she would murmur. She actually had an idea about a ring for Morgan, but wouldn’t tell the girl just yet; she didn’t want Morgan to hear about it. When she heard about the personalized vows she would bite her bottom lip, letting her gaze flick briefly to Morgan once again. It sounded like something that she would rather do, especially since she wanted the clergy to have as little to do with the wedding as possible, for obvious reasons. “I think that you’re right. It sounds like it would be much more romantic,” she would grin. She suddenly realized that she was happy to have the girls here, and would beam at her, though she wouldn’t mention anything about it. “Honestly, I’m just afraid that we’ll have too many ideas going at once,” she would say with a laugh, “And if I end up planning it by myself, it’ll end up that way,” she would shrug slightly.

She couldn't help but beam when Abi seemed interested in her ideas. They were all things that she'd loved about some of the more personalized weddings that she'd managed to watch. Her father was a very kind man who had taken to allowing many of his subjects personalize their weddings after his own had been so much more fulfilling that way. A giggle erupted from her lips when Abi said she was afraid of having too many ideas going at once. "The great thing about the more personalized weddings is being able to have as much or little to it as you please. I think; though, that deciding on a handful of things to have at the wedding is probably the best route. I've seen one or two where they had everything you could think of and then some in the wedding. It was beautiful; of course, but it also made the ceremony drag on. And you don't want your guests to get too impatient for the ceremony to end," she commented. "You also don't want it to be too short, though. Because you want it to feel like it's an actual wedding, especially with the two of you being as in love as you are," she said with a beaming smile.

Upon hearing the girl say that the good thing about personalized weddings was that they could have as much or as little as they wanted she would laugh softly, “My worry is that ideas will clash,” she would reiterate, feeling as if the girl hadn’t understood what she meant. “I definitely don’t want the ceremony to drag on though, I would like for my guests to be as happy as I’m sure to be,” she would say with a soft chuckle, reaching up to brush her fingers through her hair. Upon hearing the girl say that they didn’t want the ceremony to be too short, and her reason behind it she would laugh, a grin spreading out over her face, “And how would you know that we’re in love?” she would ask with a tip of her head and a twinkle in her eye. “It could just be some sort of political arrangement,” she would say with a shrug, her brows lifting slightly as she waits to hear the girl’s explanation. She figured the girl would think the answer was obvious; because they were women, but she was curious as to whether the girl had just assumed that they were in love because of that. Morgan could have just thought that she would make a good Queen, or something.

She frowned and gave a slight nod. "I don't think you have to worry too much about clashing as long as you arrange it so that everything flows together smoothly," she said as she chewed on her lower lip thoughtfully. "I've seen enough of these personalized weddings to realize that it's all about the way things are arranged and how they flow together. The ideas for different parts can come from completely different places, and yet if they flow together they can be as different as night and day without clashing," she said with a bob of her head in a nod. When Abi asked how she knew they were in love she looked up at the other woman and blinked. "Because it's obvious," she said with a shrug. "All you have to do is look at the expressions on your faces when you look at each other and you can see the love for the other person written plainly in that expression. Not to mention the way you two keep casting glances at each other tells me that you would much rather be alone and spending quality time together than putting up with myself and my sister. And people who aren't in love would rather have a hundred other people around. You two are too concerned with each other's presences to want anyone else around for any real length of time."

She would not lightly when the woman spoke about it being more about timing and transitions than parts being too different from one another, “I suppose you’re right,” she would say with a smile. Upon hearing her response she couldn’t help but laugh, though true to the girl’s word her gaze would once again shift to Morgan, “Well, I’m surprised that our relationship didn’t come out sooner,” she would laugh again with a shake of her head. “I apologize if I have made you feel as if I don’t want you here,” she would say, though she couldn’t seem to shake the grin that had split her lips. “I am actually enjoying your company,” she’d say with a grin, before leaning a bit closer to the girl, “But, I’m afraid that I’m going to have to admit that you’re right again. Your sister was right, you are a very intelligent individual,” she would complement the woman. “Honestly, I don’t think that there’s ever a time when I don’t wish that it could just be Morgan and I,” she would admit with a shrug, “We could be sitting down at the dining hall with the most amusing guests, and I could still wish that it was just an intimate dinner between the two of us. I suppose it’s just a part of being in love,” she’d finish. It was true; it had been that way since the very beginning, when she wouldn’t even admit to herself that she loved the woman. Morgan would draw the company of her and a few more of her companions, and she would always get irritated or impatient about their presence. It was interesting that she thought of that now, though she figured that it made sense.

She grinned at Abi's response. "It's fine. I've noticed it with people that are in love," she said as amusement danced in her eyes. "Well. I'm glad that you enjoy my company," she said a bit sheepishly. When Abi continued to explain how she was with Morgan her grin would just broaden, and she found herself wishing that she could find that sort of love. She once again found herself having to stifle a yawn and she glanced over to her sister to see that she hadn't moved in a while. "Lady Abaigael? Would you mind if my sister and I went to find our rooms. I think the ride here wore us both out, and I don't want to bother you with our presence when we're not really fit for much entertaining right now," she asked a bit sheepishly. She hated to ask things like that of other people, but she also knew that the worst they could do was say no. Casidhe tended to think that she needed protecting, and liked to believe that she didn't know anything about the things her sister did for her, but she knew everything. And sometimes Casi was the one who needed to be protected and cared for.

Upon hearing the girl questioning her name her brows would lift slightly, though a soft smile would develop over her lips as expressed her want to go to bed. The girl looked rather tired, and with a glance at Casi she would realize that the other sister must have been asleep, “By all means, you’re free to come and go as you please,” she would say with a smile, “I’m sorry for having kept you here for so long. I should have realized that you both would be tired,” she would say before moving to climb to her feet. When Alana did as well she would offer the girl a friendly hug, eyeing the other sister as she contemplated doing the same. She wasn’t sure if she would accept it, but she didn’t want to leave her out and would thus hug her as well, though very briefly before stepping back, “It’s really a pleasure to have you both here,” she would say with a smile before moving to open the door for them, calling for one of the servants. When they arrived she would ask them kindly if they would show the girls to their rooms.

She smiled again at Abaigael and shook her head at the apology. "No, no, it's fine," she assured the woman. She returned the hug that Abi gave her and felt as though she was on her way to making a friend out of the woman. "It was really nice to meet you and good to get to talk to you for a while before bed," she admitted with a smile as she turned to her sister and linked her arm through one of Casi's. Casi, not being really awake, just kind of groaned and went through the motions. When the servant arrived and agreed to show them to their rooms she turned to wave to Abi before they left. "Good night, Lady Abaigael, and your majesty," she called to the two women before allowing herself and her sister to be ushered off down the hall towards the area of the palace where their bedchambers awaited them. She saw Casi into hers and tucked her older sister into bed before she allowed the servant to usher her a few paces down the hall to the set of chambers right next to the ones her sister was in. She thanked the servant for their time and headed off to bed herself.

After she saw the girls off she would close the door and turn back to smile at Morgan, her confession from earlier today forgotten, though the fear that she might leave was still wiggling around in her chest. She would move to stand in front of the woman, plucking the book from her grasp and placing it on the side table before moving to sit in her lap, wrapping her arms around the other woman’s neck and letting her forehead rest against hers. She would smile softly at the other woman, “I love you,” she would say, “And thank you for arranging for the girls to come here,” she would murmur softly, shifting to gently kiss her nose. These past couple of days had been filled with all sorts of different emotions, and at the moment she almost felt as if the past few days had been one long bull ride. “Though, I have no idea what I’m going to do with them,” she would laugh, shaking her head slightly. Sure, she’d found a common interest in wedding planning with Alana, but what would she do after the wedding was over? And what was she supposed to do with the other sister, Casidhe?

She hadn't really done much reading, mostly because reading with conversation going on around her wasn't any easy task. Especially when it had been such an interesting one. When Abi saw the girls off she felt a little guilty to admit to herself that she was happy they were gone. Not that she didn't like them, but she enjoyed her time with Abaigael to herself. When the other woman plucked her book from her hands and climbed into her lap she smiled at her and wrapped her arms around her waist. "I love you too, and you're welcome love," she said, placing a quick kiss on her nose. "Oh, I'm sure you'll find use for them at some point or another," she said happily. "If nothing else they might provide good company other than me once in a while," she teased gently. "I think, though, that you're going to prove to be a good influence on Alana. She seems to have opened up to you pretty quickly, which can only be a good sign," she said with a smile. It was good to see that she'd made the right choice in letting the girl's come to the palace. For some reason she really wanted to see Alana become the heir that her parents wanted her to be. The girl seemed really sweet and reminded her a bit of Abi when her betrothed had first come to court.

When she said that she loved her as well she would grin, shifting to gently kiss her cheek before letting her head rest on the other woman’s shoulder. When she said that she was sure that she’d find a use for them at some point she’d laugh, “Hopefully, I don’t want them to feel like I’m ignoring them,” she would say with a grin, “Maybe I can send them out fetching flowers and such for you,” she would joke, letting the fingers of one hand brush gently over the other woman’s side as she cuddled against her. She would blink when she said that they might provide good company other than her, “But…I’d rather have your company over anybody else’s, so how would I know?” she would ask, her silver eyes twinkling with amusement. Upon hearing that she thought that she would be a good influence on Alana she would smile, “I hope so,” she would murmur softly. The girl definitely had a lot of potential, “I’m a little worried about her sister, though. She seems so…disinterested. And when I was talking to her about us she didn’t seem too thrilled,” she would admit, biting gently at her bottom lip.
